RULES AND REGULATIONS:

 

 

Completed entry forms must be signed by studio owner/director and accompanied by a certified cheque, money order to be processed.

   

Entries are accepted on a first come first served basis, due to limited space.

   
There will be no video or photography; this includes non-flash photography at any of the venues
   
There is no admission fee to any of the competition venues.
   
Smoking, drinking or eating are prohibited in the theatre area. 
   

Teacher’s will be responsible for their music. Only CDs will be available to be played at all venues. Back up CDs are recommended. 

   

Studio’s will receive DVDs with adjudicators’ comments and score sheets. Score sheets may be picked up only at the end of the competition.

Props and sets must be easily disassembled and cleared from the stage and back stage area.  The studio is responsible for informing Dance to the Top if they have large props and /or sets at least one week prior to the competition.
   

Only teachers with proper identification will be allowed in the backstage area.  The backstage is to be kept clear and only students performing in the scheduled category are permitted in this area.

   
A Stage Manager from Dance to the Top will be on hand at all competitions to control the backstage areas. Any changes to the program must go through our Stage Manager and will be at their discretion.
   
Dance to the Top reserves the right to refuse entries at their discretion in which fees will be refunded. Refunds will not be made for any other reason.
   

Dance to the Top will not be held responsible for any injuries, damages or lost/stolen property during any of the competition locations.

   

Birth Certificates are not required to enter, however, in case of discrepancy from any judge or other teacher, proof of age must be shown on premises.

   

The decision of the judges will be final! No judge may be approached throughout the duration of the competition to discuss marks and or placements.
